  1. Here are some favorite classic family movies that Caleb and Maxwell might enjoy:
Swiss Family Robinson, The Wilderness Family, Escape to Witch Mountain, Return from Witch Mountain, and Race to Witch Mountain- Dwayne Johnson, Stuart Little, The Rocketeer,
The Karate Kid, Cool Runnings, The Shaggy DA, Snowball Express, and That Darn Cat!

  2. hey y’all- great list! Yummy food and cute clothes! I put up my Christmas tree Monday. Love your tree- oh so pretty!!

  3. I’ve purchased Hallmark ornaments since 1973 – my first Christmas after college. I started buying ornaments every year for my nieces after their birth in 1978 & now buy them for their kids. As you said, this will give them a collection to take with them to their own homes when grown. A great tradition!

  4. I’m super excited about Virgin River too! If you love VR, you should check out Sullivan’s Crossing. It’s another Robyn Carr series and is very similar to VR. It’s really good! You can watch it for free on CTV.

  5. I love the light your tree gives off..what type of lights did you buy? As always, thank you for your great ideas, recommendations and recipes! Enjoy the holidays!

  6. I did the same thing with my two boys. Every year they picked out an ornament for our tree. Now they are 34 and 36 yrs old. I asked them several times that they can take their ornaments for their trees and they didn’t want to take them! I didn’t ask them why. I think? they just wanted to have them on our tree. Last year I put them all on and both loved seeing them.

  7. Maria, I made the Easy Sugar Cookies and all I can say is “Wow!” I loved my Mom’s sugar cookies, but these are much better.
So easy, no chill time required and they taste SO GOOD! This will be my “go to” sugar cookie recipe going forward. I rolled them in red and green sugar to make them festive for Christmas.
    Thanks!!! Keep the recipes coming!

  8. Thank you so much for the Simplify your holiday season list. This is so important and I needed to be reminded of some things.

And I totally can relate to wanting to stay inside after 5 pm!

Have a festive and cozy December!
